January 17, 2012: Kenneth Strait to Receive Honorary Silver Life Card from the Montclair PBA
The Montclair Police Benevolent Association Local 53 proudly presents to Kenneth C. Strait, Jr., Esquire, an Honorary Silver Life Card. Mr. Strait has served as the Municipal Prosecutor for Montclair since 2007. Prior to his appointment as Prosecutor, he spent five years as Montclair’s Municipal Public Defender. The Honorary Silver Life Card is to honor and recognize citizens who have displayed true dedication and support to the men and women of this association.
October 30, 2011: Kenneth Strait receives the Thurgood Marshall Award from the NAACP
At its Freedom Fund Dinner on Oct. 30, the Montclair Branch NAACP presented the 2011 Thurgood Marshall Award to Kenneth C. Strait Jr.
The Thurgood Marshall Award is the highest award presented by NAACP units as a tribute to those who have kept the legacy of the NAACP, the former Justice of the United States Supreme Court, and the pursuit for equality and social justice in America alive.
Strait has served as prosecutor for the Montclair Municipal Court since 2007. Prior to his appointment as prosecutor, he served as public defender.
